Aroma: Intense peat is immediately noticeable, with tar. Beneath the peat, sweet and fruity notes emerge, alongside rich vanilla, apricot, pineapple, orange, and a touch of lemon. Salty caramel, iodine, and brine are also present. Palate: A vibrant burst of citrus, salt, and stone fruit is intertwined with peat. The high proof cask strength provides some heat, followed by layers of salted caramel, oceanic notes, and peat. The finish is moderately long.
