Remarkably this placed second in the competition. Wow, I've rediscovered my fondness for the acrid peat notes I once disliked, then liked, then disliked again, and am now reconsidering...my brain hurts. To answer my initial question and add to the confusion, yes and no...what? While I'm not a huge admirer of the taste, it possesses character, something the Arran 14, Springbank, and Hazelburn 10 largely lacked that evening, blending together indistinctly. 3.75
