The color is a shining light copper. And thick semi-viscous legs make their way back to the base. The aroma immediately is young and green. Subsequent notes include flowers, honey, caramel, maple, apple cider, green grass, and nail polish remover. The palate has an oily texture and is very straightforward. Notes of green pine, caramel, vanilla, and tangy lemon are present. There is a rather long and, for lack of a better word, “grainy” finish. A lazy approach suggests aging this rye longer, (I know you're lazy, but I'm doing you a favor and I have faith in you.) It all just seems too premature. I would like to try it again after a few more years of aging. Until then, thank you for listening. Cheers!
