This is an intense, single cask bottling of single malt Scotch whisky from an undisclosed distillery on the Isle of Islay. It was matured in a bourbon cask for 8 years, from 2008 to 2016. This was bottled independently for The Cooper's Choice range by The Vintage Malt Whisky Co., with 400 bottles produced. It has an aromatic beginning with notes of tar ash & brine, while a fruity middle led to a long & drying finish. November 2017 / September 2022
