About this bottle
La Pulga is a tequila brand established by three entrepreneurs based in the Dallas-Fort Worth, Texas area. The brand's name is inspired by an open-air market that opened in Fort Worth's Northside during the 1940s. This tequila is made using 100% Weber blue agave from the Highlands of Jalisco. The reposado variety is aged for up to seven months in ex-bourbon barrels and contains no additives. Each bottle displays a different piece of Mexican folk art known as alebrijes; the El Toro design is featured on the reposado tequila. It has been available for purchase in Texas since May 2023.
