About this bottle
Produced by Kyoya Distillery, a traditional shochu maker located on Japan’s Kyushu island, Kyoya Shuzo Yuzu Gin uses a sweet potato shochu as its base. In addition to yuzu, it incorporates distinctive local citrus fruits like hyuganatsu, which is sweet and sour, and hebesu, a small, tart green citrus exclusively grown in Miyazaki during the summer. Other botanicals in the gin include sansho pepper, juniper, cucumber, cloves, and coriander.
