Koskue Gin

Nose Freshly cut grass and hay, cinnamon, dried plums, an herbal medicinal scent, damp wood Taste Begins with a sharp burn that quickly fades, making way for warm autumn flavors with a young oak character: strong cinnamon paired with pear, then licorice takes over, leading to medicinal notes Finish Long and dry with dark fruits, cinnamon, and licorice I consider this an incredible gin, suitable for sipping or in an old fashioned. It certainly has a kick and is more assertive than whisky or rum, but the spice it delivers is worth it.

The aging in barrels makes me feel like it's whisky. It's incredibly smooth with an initial floral note, followed by a persistent woody finish that dominates.

The gin is very well rounded. the American Oak imparts a nice depth and spiciness to the gin. Hints of Vanilla and Pepper

Consumed neat, it tastes similar to a well-made Old Fashioned, prepared correctly with rye whiskey, naturally!
