Introduced in February 2024, The Botanist Islay Cask Rested Gin is part of a two-bottle range of Islay Cask Matured Gins. The Botanist Gin, featuring 22 wild, foraged Islay botanicals, is produced at Bruichladdich on Islay, allowing for extensive cask experimentation. Head Distiller Adam Hannett selected 15 types of American and European oak casks from various origins for the "resting" period of at least six months for this bottling. It will be available at retailers and on-premise locations in select markets. (SRP $49.99)

A bit of conflicting feelings for this expression, it reminded me of an Old style Jenever but, I couldn't find its place, there was a pleasant complexity and familiar smoothness, although I only enjoyed it on the rocks in small servings and I couldn't find a suitable mixer for it.
