The whiskey's aroma offers mild vanilla and caramel notes, complemented by a gentle woody character from the oak. On the palate, the whiskey is smooth and gentle. It begins with burnt sugar and cask notes, transitioning to a light spice, vanilla, and stone fruits in the mid-palate. The finish features cask tannins and a touch of charcoal. A wonderfully smooth experience that leaves a comforting warmth. Best enjoyed on its own, but could also serve as an excellent base for an Old Fashioned.
