About this bottle
The Killowen Barántúil, meaning "authentic" or "trustworthy" in Gaelic, is crafted using the brand's own distillate. The spirit is produced in a flame-fed copper pot still with a worm tub condenser. Its mash bill includes malted barley, unmalted barley, malted Marris Otter barley, oats, and wheat, fermented with a blend of wild and cultured yeasts. It matures for a minimum of three years in a freshly-emptied ex-cognac cask made from American oak. This release is bottled without chill-filtration at 61% ABV and has been exclusively offered in the US since March 2024. (SRP $115/375ml)
