This is the first pour from a custom sampling of seven Kilchoman bottles. My wife presented them to me for my birthday. I was eager to try all of them and decided to start with the Travel Retail selections. The Saligo Bay presents noticeable smoke on the aroma, but it's softer on the tongue. A few citrus notes emerge soon after the initial taste, followed by toffee and then mild spices. It's a decent drink.

Smoky at first but not overpowering. Young. After the smoke fades, hints of toffee/butterscotch emerge. I enjoyed it and am curious about other products from this distillery.
