About this bottle
During September and October of 2016, brothers James and Peter Wills, sons of Kilchoman's founder, embarked on a tour of the US East Coast, visiting Boston, New York City, Rhode Island, New Jersey, Delaware, Pennsylvania, Maryland, and Washington D.C. This special edition bottling of Kilchoman Machir Bay commemorates that tour, following the success of their 2014 and 2015 European tours. It continues to be aged in ex-bourbon barrels and Oloroso sherry butts, but this release presents the flagship at 58.9% ABV cask strength. A total of 840 bottles were exclusively available during the tour.
