This gin is amazing. Its light color from aging doesn't overwhelm the gin's delicate character. I've never encountered a gin this smooth or distinct, and I'm extremely fond of it. Perhaps more than any gin I've ever had. It's so good, I can enjoy it straight or on ice, which I wouldn't normally consider for gin. The aroma is very intriguing; it actually smells a lot like some less pine-forward gins I've tried, such as Bombay or Solveig, but this smells sweeter and less sharp. You can definitely tell it's gin, though. On the palate, there's very little juniper, if any. Instead, you get candied ginger and bamboo. The flavor profile is entirely different from anything I've experienced before. An absolutely stunning bottle. The bottle indicates this was the 13th release and that there are supposedly 600 bottles of this batch worldwide. It's a definite yes if you can find it; you won't be disappointed.
