The aroma is quite appealing with nutty, biscuity, leather, oak, dried leaves, peaches, and orange peel scents. A remarkable range of smells. The disappointment is on the tongue: sweet, syrupy, caramel, and fruity notes are present, but for a whiskey aged 14 years, it shows little further development.

The nose has chocolate, citrus, floral notes, sweet apples, and mild woody hints. Further on the palate: more chocolate, maybe grapefruit? Pears, vanilla, wood, plastic, and a strong spicy rye flavor. The finish is fruity, spicy, and long.
The nose has notes of vanilla and fried bananas with cinnamon and brown sugar. The palate is like sweet banana cream pie 🥧. The finish has toasted candied almonds and peanuts. A sweet and rich whiskey. Delicious!
Smells smooth, subtle, and sweet. An amazing burst of honey on the palate followed by a fruity taste.
This is a smokier Jura than I've had, and I actually think it's nice. I'd buy it again if it were on sale, perfect for winter.
Silky and sweet.
