About this bottle

Distilled in Michigan, this whiskey from Journeyman Distillery is part of the growing category of American single malt. It is produced from 100% organic malted barley and aged in three distinct oak barrels, a nod to its name and the distillery's location in Three Oaks. Initially, it spends a year and a half in used Featherbone Bourbon barrels before being transferred to ex-rum barrels produced by the distillery for nearly another year. The final stage involves a two-month finishing period in ex-port casks.

Julianne Bartholomew 3.3

Sweet, almost like a caramel apple on the nose. A little spice comes through first, followed by what I detect as bubble gum, with an aftertaste like original pink bubble gum.

Edwin Underwood 4.8

The 'corsets whips and whiskey' rendition. Delicious, very, very potent and spicy.

Lidia Ragan 4.0

I really enjoyed this. It offered rich, sweet bourbon characteristics.

Kolby Ness 1.0

Exceptionally good - from a craft distillery.

Kaden Neumann 2.0

Not very good. I can make something better.

Walker Fisher 4.0

A solid 3.5
