I tried a bit of this at a tasting event for Glen Grant, and it's truly exceptional. The aroma presents a rich mix of spice, savory dried fruit, tobacco for pipes, and almond. I could smell this for ages and never tire of it. However, it's the flavor that truly elevates this one - dried fruits, pipe tobacco, leather, Marcona almonds, vanilla, caramel, and even a touch of petrichor (damp earth). My personal notes even contain the phrase "this is what divinity tastes like." Perhaps I got carried away in the moment, but it's genuinely delightful.

This isn't quite for me. The herbal sweetness is rather bothersome.
Quite similar to sienna. Enjoyed with boilermakers on 2018-04-29.
A strong initial impact with a beautiful spiced flavor.
Glen Grant 16yr costs $69.
