Batch #1 is a concentrated, herbal aperitif / cordial by the Hope Springs Distillery in Lilburn, Georgia; products used in the distilling process highlight the diversity of Georgia's agricultural production, with their first batch of 540 bottles. It has an intense, floral opening; the palate adds a bouquet of herbs fresh from spring harvest & young pinecones; culminating in a long & complex, off-dry finish with notes of wormwood & spring wildflowers. April 2017 Back label is more poetic with a walk in an evergreen forest ending in a barn (dirty).

This batch, number two, is a robust, botanical aperitif/cordial from Hope Springs Distillery in Lilburn, Georgia. The agricultural products used showcase the variety of Georgia's farming output. This was their first bottling run of 540 units. It bursts forth with a powerful, floral aroma. The taste brings a collection of herbs just gathered in spring, plus young pinecones. This evolves into a lingering, intricate, slightly sweet finish, featuring hints of wormwood and spring meadow flowers. May 2018 My walk through the woods didn't end up somewhere unpleasant!
