On the nose: Blood orange zest, red and white flowers, and a hint of sawdust; intensely fragrant. On the palate: Orange flesh and zest, red fruits led by bing cherry, vanilla, more red flowers, with an oily, mouth-coating texture. Its 55% ABV is only evident in the richness of its mouthfeel and the exceptionally long and beautiful finish: A Spring meadow and what I can only describe as strawberry Pop Rocks (?) creating a tingling sensation in waves on the back palate for nearly a minute. Truly special.
