Nose: Faintly charred marshmallows, tart green apples, ripe banana, and sweet caramel. A whisper of dried fruit, like a raisin, is also present... truly fantastic. Palate: Overflows with that familiar marshmallow and mild banana character of the brand. Notes of butterscotch, brown sugar, dark chocolate, and fleeting impressions of raisins and dark berries dance across the tongue. While it sounds incredible, the conclusion falls short for me. It's a little sharp and rough. A touch of smoke lingers. I've revisited this bottle across multiple weeks, and the ending is consistently abrasive. It drinks as though it's much higher in proof, around 110-115, delivering a substantial warmth and burn with every taste. I recently sampled another spirit bottled at 118 proof with a younger age statement, and it didn't feel as intense as this. Summary: It's quite good, but I wouldn't spend over $80 on this (or its suggested retail price)... It's genuinely not significantly superior, if at all, to other options like OF 1910, WF Double Oaked, or even Sagamore Double Oak.

Nose: strong char, camp fire, Snickers Palate: sweet chocolate mocha, vanilla up front. Liquid caramel (if that makes sense) some coffee liquor with barrel char coming through mid palate, back end has sweet corn, candy corn, caramel and vanilla linger, some marshmallow, peanuts, very very soft tannins.

So pleased to find this bottle, I've been anticipating it. Tried neat. Brown sugar, vanilla, fig, plum, nuts, and caramel on the nose. On the palate it’s smooth with notes of caramel, apple, cinnamon. This is delicious.. so delicious that even my wife is having a pour!

A great value bottle. It's only 100 proof but drinks stronger. The flavors are bigger than I anticipated. It has cinnamon, but not the usual banana notes.

Cristal Weiner 3.8

The aroma is inviting. Sweet. Notes of baking spice and toasted marshmallow. The taste begins sweet but finishes earthy. The finish is somewhat drying.

Ray Marks 4.5

The initial alcohol level is noteworthy. Do not mistake this for a whiskey that has been finished in a toasted barrel.
