Ninety. A sigh. This whiskey can be enjoyed in various ways: neat, with ice, or chilled from the freezer. However, it should never be mixed. The bottle states it's a blend of their 20-year-old batch, implying other aged whiskies are incorporated. It's crucial to examine the details on this one to fully understand its composition. It presents strong vanilla notes and has a viscous consistency. It's exceptionally smooth and intensely sweet. My overall rating is 2 out of 5. The bottle itself is substantial and heavy. Although it was a gift, this whiskey lacks depth and is not something I would ever buy. You'd be better off choosing a bottle of Jack Daniel's.

This is a pleasant whisky, though its extended time in oak is somewhat puzzling. The nose offers butterscotch, leading to a sweet, buttery taste reminiscent of honey toast. There's also a sharp, high note, like pear drops or turpentine, followed by a subtle vanilla finish. Better Canadian options are available for the price.

It took me a considerable amount of time to appreciate this. Initially, I found it sweet and light. However, after several months with the bottle, its character developed significantly. It starts with prominent notes of butter, toffee, and a subtle fruitiness. With maturation, hints of spice and oak emerge. What truly stands out over time is the remarkable equilibrium of this bottle. It's an outstanding value if you can still acquire it!

Wow! The aroma is dominated by a strong vanilla presence. The spirit itself also has a delicious, oaky flavor reminiscent of a fine bourbon. For a 20-year-old, it lacks a bit of complexity. It's also not particularly spicy for a Canadian whisky. However, it is very moreish and reasonably priced, so it's worth considering!

An exceptionally smooth rye, among the best I've ever had. Highly recommended.
