I purchased this on a whim during the holidays to see if it was worth the expense. My conclusion is it's a bit above average. This is not the drink for you if you prefer bold bourbon or rye spirits in your Old Fashioned. If you are new to cocktails or want something light and easy, this is your drink. The whisky is 80-proof Canadian with added components, making it not too strong and very easy to sip and enjoy, but it lacks significant flavor compared to the Old Fashioneds I prepare. Overall, it's a nice introduction to the Old Fashioned cocktail and is reasonably priced, so little is lost if you don't like it. Enjoy.
