The aroma is pleasant but lacks complexity. It's very sugary. Strong notes of spice and bubblegum are present. Kudos to the mashbill and components, giving it a welcome individuality. The texture on the palate is substantial. Spice, red berries, a hint of medicine, and oaky wheat grain are detected. The dry finish persists for an extended period. While not typically a purchase for me, I still respect its character.
