Consumed neat. After several tastings, one becomes accustomed to the high level of sweetness. The maple flavor is prominent. It might be excessive for some, but I find it enjoyable. The warmth on the finish is a welcome sensation. I believe this is best appreciated as late summer transitions into fall. I anticipate enjoying a generous pour of this whiskey on a crisp autumn day with changing leaves. That type of setting is what this beverage seems designed for.

Served neat in a Glencairn. Picked it up at Citywide Liquor in Mishawaka, IN. Smell: Sugary maple and nutty pecans. Flavor: Big maple sweetness dominates from the start. Some nut flavor appears in the middle. Aftertaste has lasting sweetness with minimal warmth. Goes down extremely smoothly. Great when you desire something sweet and effortless to sip. Would be excellent near a bonfire in autumn.
Tastes like maple. Sweet. Smooth. A solid whiskey for sipping, right here in my hometown.
Acceptable bourbon diluted with artificial maple syrup flavoring.
Extremely sweet, reminiscent of maple syrup.
