Aroma of dark, sweet honey, with a similar flavor. There's a faint medicinal bite underneath that I can't quite pinpoint. The bitterness from the medicine and the dark honey create an interesting, rich, and complex combination. It's certainly unique.

About this bottle
Seattle Distilling Co. is responsible for Idle Hour Whiskey, a single malt made from barley grown in Washington's Palouse Valley. Wildflower honey sourced locally is incorporated during fermentation. The used French oak Cabernet Sauvignon casks for aging are prepared and charred on-site at the distillery. This whiskey exits the barrels at 115 proof before being diluted to 88 proof.
