Aroma: dried apricot, vanilla, malty, dried banana. Taste: Toffee, barley, ginger biscuits, white pepper, grass/hay, nutty Finish: Medium length. Vanilla, caramel, malt. Tropical fruits/coconut notes linger. This is a very enjoyable, though hard-to-categorize, whiskey. It has many integrated layers, though the fruitiness on the finish is slightly jarring. The mouthfeel is creamy. A solid, intriguing, and quite tasty drink.
