Distilled using a handmade copper pot still, Howling Moon Moonshine Whiskey is crafted from corn cultivated and stone-ground by water-powered mill. The spirit adheres to a 150-year-old formula passed down through Appalachian moonshiner lineages and is presented at 40% ABV.

This is easily one of my favorite bottles in my collection. The whiskey's deep dark molasses color is stunning. The first flavor that comes to mind is delicious smoked meat, a perfect North Carolinian taste. Rich bourbon notes are also present, creating an excellent balance. It's definitely worth trying, especially given its affordable price.
