Dominant, strong, pungent green olive aromas. The palate delivers on this promise with intense brininess, a little vegetal character, and earthiness. Theoretically, this should resemble WP 502 (pot still, unaged, molasses), but compared to it, this tastes much funkier, greener, and generally dirtier. I also compared it to Paranubes, which I thought might be similar based on memory, but it lacks the brine. A highly distinctive rum, and likely my favorite Holmes Cay encountered so far.
