About this bottle

Botran Rum is produced on a single estate in Guatemala's southern Pacific coast, using two sugarcane varieties. Instead of traditional molasses, the initial pressing of sugarcane, known as virgin sugar cane honey, is used for distillation. Botran employs a variation of the solera system called "dynamic aging." For the Reserva Blanca, rums aged 3-8 years in American whiskey casks are blended and then charcoal filtered to remove color. Botran holds a Protected Denomination of Origin (PDO) and is certified as Ron de Guatemala. The brand was reintroduced to the US in August 2022 with updated branding and packaging.
