A sample from a friend's older collection. Allowed to sit in a glencarin for 5-10 minutes. Color: medium amber, very slow, thin legs Aroma: rye bread, cherries, ethanol sting, pepper, dried brown tobacco Body: medium to heavy, thick, a quick build of lasting warmth, drying Taste: layers of rich, dark brown sugar, pepper, orange zest, coriander, clove Finish: long and full of clove, dark honey, and rye bread with a satisfying, strong KY warmth Overall, a fantastic blend that is substantial enough in body and flavor to satisfy, but drinks hot for 92 proof!

An intense limited-edition mix of 10- to 14-year-old straight Bourbon & Rye whiskeys. It starts with an aroma of honeyed fruits & rye; its rich body adds notes of caramel & toasted vanilla; leading to a long finish reminiscent of butterscotch. February 2017

Inviting vanilla baking spice on the nose. Honey sweetness on the tongue. A hint of eucalyptus on the finish lingers without any harshness. Very smooth and easy to drink.

This is a decent whiskey - it's fairly smooth, although I would have guessed a slightly higher proof. I detect notes of banana, honey, caramel, and very strong clove.

A pour from a bar bottle dated 2016. Quite enjoyable, with vanilla, cherry, cinnamon, and spice. One of the better High West spirits I've encountered.

Delicious and sweet! Smells like graham crackers, with a pleasant amount of spice and caramel on the tongue.
