The aroma is far more intricate than I anticipated based on prior commentary. On the nose, I detect fresh earth, peat, pine resin, a medicinal sharpness, new wood, a misty atmosphere, decaying foliage, and a very subtle hint of plastic. The palate offers chili, cinnamon, nutmeg, and wood spice. The finish presents indistinct dark spices, a slight astringency, and smooth vanilla. Dilution introduces creamy vanilla and burnt sugar to the nose, enhances the earthy mustiness, and adds a whisper of sweet bread. On the palate, it reveals a delicate floral note and a cinnamon roll character. The finish gains soft spices, aged wood, and a very faint trace of confectionery sugar. I am definitely keen to explore this further.

The aroma is quite nice. Honey, a subtle peaty smokiness, almond essence, applesauce, and hard candies. The taste initially presents with a surprisingly prominent smoke, yet it remains a refined peated smoke. Beneath the smoke, vibrant floral notes emerge, transitioning swiftly to poached pears before fading. The mouthfeel is moderate. It possesses a slight initial warmth. No unpleasant tastes are detected, but a few more years in the cask would likely smooth out some of its rougher aspects.
It has notes of apple and pear, honey, meadow flowers, hints of caramel and cereal, followed by iodine and a strong peat presence that dominates the finish, except for an exceptional spice. Sweden has done well with this offering, serving as an introduction to this region's spirits and Scandinavian whisky in general. I'm very impressed.
Aroma: Lovely perfumed smoke and floral scent. Grassy notes. Palate: Very light texture. Sweet smoke. Some gentle ginger spice. Floral. Finish: A little oak emerges. Dry. Smoked tropical fruit. Reminds me of a vegan barbecue.
Aroma: Hay, perhaps ammonia, slightly floral Taste: Smoky, hay, perhaps ammonia Other: Stings the tongue, cool on the tongue as if from mint/salmiak
A pale-colored spirit, a little rough on a quick taste. Subtle smoke with traces of pear beneath. Vanilla is also noticeable.
