Has the same flavor profile as their Reposado but is exceptionally smooth, with added depth. Truly delightful, but too expensive. Unavailable in Ontario. Priced at $390 in the US (Arizona). If it were under $200 CAD, I'd buy it. Definitely superior to Don Julio 1942. Depending on your taste, it might be comparable to Cuervo Reserva Familia. It's bright, fruity, and sweet versus deep and complex.

About this bottle
Herradura Selección Suprema Extra Añejo, first offered in 1994, is crafted from 100% blue weber agave grown on the estate, which is harvested a decade after being planted. Production occurs at Casa Herradura (NOM 1119) in Amatitán, within Jalisco's Tequila Valley (Lowlands).

Herradura Seleccion Suprema Extra Añejo Tequila” 70 Nose Caramel Sweet Medicinal cherry Oak Vanilla Agave seems lost Opens up to a chocolate oak Where is the agave? 😢 Palette Caramel Vanilla Oak Light Agave The aging has overly muted the agave. It sips nicely but isn't quite my preference. The strong nose isn't as noticeable on the palate. It doesn't leave that desirable oily residue.
Amazing. One of the smoothest and most flavorful tequilas I've ever experienced. The American Oak is subtly present in the slow-burning finish. Truly exceptional. This one is very special, so if you can find a bottle at your favorite bar, treat yourself. It's expensive, but absolutely worth it.
Tastes like a bourbon. It's rich and sweet with no harshness. I can understand why a devoted tequila drinker might not appreciate it as much as I do. I primarily enjoy bourbon but occasionally explore tequila.
This is the world's finest tequila. If you appreciate top-shelf bourbons, this tequila is for you. Nicely oaked, vanilla aroma, smooth, simply perfect.
Smooth, American oak, vanilla, caramel, old leather, cigar, outstanding tequila. Own 3 bottles.
