An excellent choice for newcomers to brown spirits. I find it works well as a bourbon substitute in cocktails. It creates an outstanding Old Fashioned with remarkable flavor depth, eliminating the need for a sugar cube. It also makes a superb mint julep. Its use of only natural ingredients means no artificial flavors, unlike other "flavored" whiskeys. There are no artificial sugar notes either – just authentic, pure taste. It's also a fantastic addition to BBQ sauce. My wife appreciated my introduction of BSB to her; now she can join me for a whiskey drink!

BSB has been in my collection for a year, and this is my first tasting. It was a gift from my wife. The aroma is dominated by brown sugar, very sweet. The taste features cinnamon and brown sugar. It's quite similar to Fireball but considerably sweeter. The finish is also brown sugar. It genuinely tastes like Fireball with a substantial amount of brown sugar added. It might be suitable for cocktails, but I don't find it enjoyable on its own. I'm rating it between 2.5 and 3.
Suitable for crafting sweet mixed drinks, but not ideal for sipping straight. The brown sugar flavor is overpowering and lingers excessively, masking other notes.
For a flavored whisky, this is good. Brown sugar is the dominant flavor, as expected. I wish it had a higher proof.
I enjoy sipping it or using it in cocktails. Crafting a plum and lemongrass whiskey sour with it was delightful!
It's enjoyable for a flavored whiskey. Brown sugar and cinnamon notes.
