The flavor opens with vanilla sweetness and leans gently toward the corn mash’s natural character (evoking even a touch of corn syrup). Mild oak tones settle in, accompanied by a subtle char—just enough to remind you it’s been well-barreled. There’s a slight ethanol burn, but it’s faint and almost pleasant, adding a touch of warmth rather than harshness. It's very intense and irritating in the mouth, with immediate charred oak notes after swallowing, followed by a rich general sweetness. When mixed with coke, it becomes oakier than most bourbons experienced, also carrying some tart dark fruit flavors. It's acceptable, offering more value than exceptional quality.

Immediately on the nose, there's a caramel cookie dough sweetness, like walking into a candy store or bakery. This sweetness gives way on the palate to become more earthy, savory, and tobacco-like on the finish. I like the contrast between the aroma and the taste.
