Tuthilltown Spirits Distillery, established in 2005, is a small craft distillery in the Hudson Valley, operating from the historic Tuthilltown Gristmill, a 220-year-old grain mill recognized on the National Register of Historic Places. Utilizing apples from local orchards, the distillery produces spirits including its Half Moon-Orchard Gin. Named after Henry Hudson's exploration vessel, this gin is composed of a base of 80% neutral spirit from wheat and 20% spirit from apples. Eight botanicals—juniper, lemon peel, coriander, cardamom, raw almond, bergamot zest, bitter orange peel, and elderberry—are then incorporated. It is bottled at 46% ABV.
