This rum was distilled in Fiji in 2001 and subsequently aged for ten years in Scotland's cooler environment by Samaroli, an Italian independent bottler more recognized for its whisky selections. While this particular bottling is very limited, other independent bottlers, such as Berry Bros. & Rudd and Blackadder, have released comparable Fiji rums from the 2001 vintage.
