Guidance Whiskey is an American whiskey brand established by Jason Ridgel. Its mash bill consists of 88% corn, 10% rye, and 1.2% malted barley, and it is distilled in Iowa. The brand is based in Tennessee, where the whiskey is aged for two years and bottled at 80 proof. It is currently only available in Tennessee and Georgia.

For a two-year-old spirit, it has a delicate flavor profile initially. The finish offers subtle notes of caramel and maraschino cherry. This is a delightful spirit for moments when you desire something smooth and effortless to sip. The proprietor is a fine individual; I had the pleasure of meeting him at an event.
This whiskey doesn't offer much complexity. It's rather uninspired. Hints of caramel are present. Perhaps this is typical for an 80 proof spirit? It strikes me as a beverage intended for those who typically don't drink whiskey.
I'm quite fond of this whiskey. It offers a new take on a classic. I enjoy the narrative behind it, and the bottle design consistently makes for wonderful presents.
I am not fond of this. They claim it has a long smoky finish, but I did not detect that.
