Gran Centenario Leyenda is an extra añejo tequila made from 100% blue weber agave. The tequila undergoes a four-year aging process in new American oak barrels. It is then blended with older tequila reserves. A prior Leyenda iteration in a round bottle from the brand has been discontinued and replaced by this version, which was introduced in October 2019.

Gran Centenario Leyenda offers a traditional extra anejo tequila without the premium price tag. It presents a deep dark amber hue with a substantial body. On the nose, we detect strong notes of oak and vanilla, with undertones of raisin, chocolate, and toasted almonds. On the palate, we discover distinct tastes of black cherries, coffee beans, and butter, supported by a robust foundation of oak and vanilla.
An elegant agave spirit from NOM 1122. It begins with an aromatic profile of agave, wood, fruits, nuts, herbs & spices. The palate offers cherry, sweet oak spices, vanilla & roasted agave, leading to a balanced, medium-length finish with hints of pepper, cinnamon, almond, cognac & smoke. July 2024.
