About this bottle

Cierto Tequila, a brand featuring 100% additive-free spirits, sources estate-grown agave from Jalisco's Highlands. The name "Cierto" signifies "true." Master Distillers Enrique Fonseca and Sergio Mendoza, who come from fourth and fifth-generation agave farming families, developed these tequilas at La Tequileña Distillery in the town of Tequila. Each offering within the Private Collection is a blend of aged tequilas drawn from Fonseca's personal collection. The Añejo expression was primarily matured in French Limousin oak that had previously held beverages like cognac and armagnac. Initial availability began in select US markets in February 2023, with broader national distribution planned throughout the year.

Kailey Castellano 4.5

A deep aroma driven by oak, supported by a solid agave base. On the palate, the agave is prominent with a sweet, vegetal taste and a mellow caramel flavor from the barrel aging. It enters smoothly, has a round mouthfeel, and an extra-long finish that concludes with a slightly tannic dryness. A flavorful sipper that keeps the essence of Blue Weber agave at the forefront.
