Maestro Tequilero Gildardo Partida Melendrez at Tequilera Puerta de Hierro (NOM 1477) crafts this tequila using 100% blue weber agave sourced from both the Los Altos and Tequila Valley regions of Jalisco. It undergoes double distillation in pot stills and is then aged for 6 months in French white oak barrels. The "Gran Cava de Oro" brand serves as the export name to the US and Canada for "Cava de Oro," which is exclusively distributed in Mexico.
