The whiskey is a bright gold color, just as anticipated! The glass reveals thick, watery legs. The aroma is sweet but not overly intricate. I sense notes of dusty corn, candied walnuts, yogurt-covered raisins, cotton candy, and a faint scent of ethanol. The taste has a watery texture, with flavors of sweet corn, grape skins, cracked pepper, and Spree candy. The conclusion is of medium length and finishes somewhat peppery. I concur with the sentiment that this whiskey is, “more glam than dram.” It's a fancy presentation and a gimmick in its finishing process, but it does contribute to a feeling that this whiskey is special and makes celebratory moments more memorable. For instance, I poured a serving for myself when my wife and I brought our daughter home for the first time recently! While it might not be the finest whiskey, the occasion made it special. Would I purchase it again? Likely not. But it created a nice memory. Thank you to the brand. And cheers to new beginnings!

The aroma is strongly ethanol/vodka-like. Hints of grain and subtle oak are detectable. It's sweet. The flavor is unremarkable, with some sweet caramel and perhaps pear-like fruitiness. The gold bar is largely a marketing gimmick, as the whiskey itself is not particularly valuable. It's not a bad whiskey, but it's certainly a budget option, lacking anything truly special.

Avoid this one. From what I gather, this whiskey has been taken off the market. Now I understand the reason... I suspect it was aged just long enough to achieve a brown color. The aroma is faint. It is very underdeveloped. It's harsh on the palate with very sharp characteristics. The comments about it being similar to vodka are accurate.

My partner gifted me a bottle... I wouldn't mix this with cola, as it would overpower the soda... I must say, I've never encountered anything like this before, despite trying many spirits, both good and bad. This has reached an entirely new level of poor quality... This shouldn't even be classified as whisky!!!
