Sandy Bray 2.3

Nose: Alcohol, floral, furniture polish, summer fruit. Palate: 'Hot', cracked pepper corn, chilli, green apple, lemon, vanilla, light and clean, tropical fruit. Finish: Medium long finish. Oak, dark chocolate, souring fruit, sweet oak char, lemon polish. Quite a hot, young tasting dram. There are lots of sour fruits, black pepper and spices. Sour on the aftertaste. Young and a little harsh. There's some promise in the taste and it might become a decent dram if left to mature a little longer. Not yet ready to my palate. Concerto barley. It came joint fifth out of the six drams, with 0% of the final vote for favorite of the night. 47% of those present said they enjoyed the whisky.

Francisca Sorensen 3.3

Nose: Delicate, with heather honey and an almost neutral aroma. A thorough nosing is required to detect citrus zest. After 15-20 minutes of breathing, it becomes more expressive. Palate: A creamy texture is complemented by notes of caramelized banana, light citrus, and a peppery warmth. Finish: Hints of dried fruits like sultanas, clearly from the sherry cask influence, along with a subtle oak presence.

Chantel Byrnes 2.8

A solid choice, with a peppery, oily character and a slight bitterness.

Maryellen Capps 3.5

Quite immature, vibrant
