I have the 107 Proof bottling. It was very harsh when first opened and now, after 12 months, it's fairly good when diluted to 86 proof. I didn't experience the super high rating here but would definitely buy again if the price was right.

About this bottle
This Glentauchers whisky, bottled by the independent label The Exclusive Malts, is one of the few single malt releases from a distillery primarily used for blending. As part of a limited series, The Exclusive Malts features single cask bottlings not intended for mass distribution. This particular expression has matured for eight years in European oak that previously held sherry.

Glendronach 2008 10 Year Old Oloroso Puncheon Nose: Subtle Taste: Sherry wood smoke, spicy, thick sweetness Finish: Slightly deep spice, brief aroma, rich thick sherry is good, but the woodiness is a disappointment, not to my taste.
A fantastic pour. Tastes like a sugar cookie with molasses in a glass.
