Cask # 253 A complex, Cask Strength Single Barrel Single Malt Scotch Whisky from Glenshiel Distillery (Loch Lomond Distillery) in Highland, Scotland. It's made from a blend of Highland malts aged 15 years in ex-Bourbon casks, bottled at a full 108.6 proof by Alexander Murray in California. It has an aromatic beginning with notes of warm oats, granola, apple, heather & lemon zest; a rich & complex middle adds notes of stewed fruits, grain, orange zest & a hint of ginger; leading to a long & warm end with notes of chocolate & toffee.
