Glenns Creek Hamilton Smoke

From Barrel 1H, Bottle 146. This spirit, made from grain and cane and aged in used barrels, includes added Peated Malt. The aroma harmoniously blends grain, cane, and peat smoke, with the peat complementing rather than dominating. The initial taste offers some sweetness, followed by spice and smokiness. The finish is both enduring and robust. While the cost is somewhat high, it's a skillfully made spirit, truly a craft product. I'd be interested to sample it with more aging. My rating was 87.5.

I'm currently drawn to everything from this distillery. It offers a great, full-bodied flavor. Lighter in color with a plum brandy character, yet it has substantial body and a warm, comforting finish. Delicious.

Nice sweetness from the cane. A lot of sediment in the bottle (from the pleated malt??). A nice one though.

A robust finish from Islay, packed with taste.
