Tamera Stevens 3.3

Nose: Aerosol spray/acetone, preserves, gorse bush Palate: Sweet. Tropical fruit, fruit preserves, salt, vanilla, ginger, chocolate Finish: Moderately long finish. Ginger, leather, tobacco. This whisky has a bright initial taste but a much darker finish. It seems to have spent perhaps too long in the barrel. Its 17 years have dulled the profile into less engaging layers. Not a bad whisky, though. Batch 3 1 of 206 bottles

Deanne Thibodeaux 3.5

An intense Speyside Single Malt Whisky with a delicate beginning, offering notes of blackcurrants, cranberries, cinnamon, toffee, raisins, plum, bread and butter pudding, and orange peel. Its rich development introduces notes of oak, vanilla pods, woody spices, dried orange, peppercorn, cranberries, apricot, dark chocolate, and a hint of custard, leading to a long and warming conclusion reminiscent of custard.
