AROMA: It harmonizes strong sulfur notes with sharp spices and mellow dark fruits. A hint of salt is present. I think it's spot on. It's robust at 46% ABV. No peat, but there's a charcoal element. It's balanced yet intricate. TASTE: Matches the intense aroma with powerful flavors. Candied ginger. Gingerbread. It concludes with warming sweet Ceylon cinnamon. There's a shift from spicy to sweet and back to spicy. OVERALL: My first Glengoyne, and I'm immediately drawn to the "slow" concept. It truly feels like something crafted with dedication.

Very nice mild rum-like flavor, fruity sweetness. A mellow peppery kick complements the palate. Long-lasting pleasant finish. Suitable for ladies.
While not the finest PX I've sampled, it offers a very balanced aroma, a full body, and a lengthy aftertaste.
Excellent sherry notes with a hint of bourbon and citrus.
