Nose- grape preserves, a hint of dried grass, sugar cookie, and a fruity candy Palate- opulent texture, vanilla comes first, then toffee, a little spice and a pop of dark fruit. It's like liquid jam. Finish- somewhat astringent and drawn out. Nice wood notes, but maybe a little too arid. Overall- a solid pour. The sweet grape flavors, tempered by wood and earthy notes, truly satisfy. Is it a home run? No. A solid hit? Definitely!
