On the nose, there's an intensely sour and bitter scent that is rather challenging and uncommon. Notes of grapefruit rind, tart apple, pine resin, hops, stale beer, pungent blue cheese, and a subtle underlying hint of sweet vanilla and ripe pear that requires patience to detect. - To the palate, it's curiously hoppy and zesty with abundant citrus, sour apple, sweet lemon, sharp grapefruit, woody spice, crushed pepper, dried green botanicals, dark chocolate, vanilla essence, earthy tree bark, and the warm remnants of a foamy porter. - In the finish, there's a sour apple, earthy wood spice, and herbal quality with a persistent bitter grapefruit peel flavor. — Malt Mark: 85 — The longer I experience this, especially with added water, I'm recognizing a resemblance to Genever, or Barrel-Aged Gin. Quite distinct! Additionally, I found that a cigar actually significantly enhanced my enjoyment of this.

The aroma is truly chocolate-like, similar to lightly spiced hot chocolate. On the palate, it's light yet rounded, with a touch of caramel and coffee and chocolate notes. Enjoyable. The finish is distinctly chocolatey, quite long and spicy, with a hint of vanilla. A very light, easy-to-drink, but pleasant whisky.

This is a mysterious whiskey. The aroma is unusual, featuring notes of citrus, pine, and hops. The palate reminds me of a fantastic and elegant Speyside Scotch. It has a superb and thick texture. Honestly, it tastes like a superior and stronger Glenlivet 15.

The aroma is of honey, floral notes, and almond; the taste has oak, vanilla, almond, and a hint of butter; it's reasonably smooth with a slightly buttery texture; a subtle almond aftertaste.
