Inhale lightly and your nose will be filled with the scent of peanut butter. The first impression on the tongue is a doughy peanut butter cookie followed by pepper and finishing with nutmeg and clove. Not a long finish. Seems just a tad green. It makes me wonder what this would be like after a couple more years in the barrel. All in all not a bad whiskey.

Nose: vanilla, sweet, fruity, floral, white oak, almonds Taste: A strong alcohol start that softens to a wheat-forward, sweet honey, butterscotch, orange, light wood barrel flavor with a light rye finish and some smoke. It is very full, warm, smooth, and syrupy. Placement: Starts on the back roof of my mouth and finishes on my lips.

I waited in line for one of their initial bottle releases and opened it upon learning my wife was pregnant with our first child! What a magnificent bottle of bourbon. It possesses the same wheat character as their whiskey but is very smooth and full of flavor. I absolutely recommend it!

Edmund Fugate 3.8

A nose of cookie sweetness and light vanilla floral notes. The palate has oak and tannin spice followed by corn sweetness and vanilla. It has a medium-light body. The long spicy finish is unexpected for a mashbill without rye. The high proof is a bit hot, but... it's an interesting wheated bourbon.

Aroma: vanilla, orange bitters, sweet pineapple, apple Palate: vanilla, orange peel, sweet pineapple, sweet cream, amaretto, toasted almond, berries, butterscotch Mouthfeel: affects the tip of the tongue, then the sides

Charlee Garnett 3.3

Sweet and spicy. I tried this after having the Dryfly Triticale whiskey, which I found to be quite good. I rate this one slightly lower, though it's still pretty good! The flavor was very enjoyable!
