Angelita Holder 4.3

Appearance: Amber, plus point for color, low viscosity. Nose: Sweet (honey, vanilla), fruity (mango, pineapple, green apples, sultanas, tangerines), vinegar, floral. Palate: Sweet-fruity arrival (gentle but delicious), full, rich, mango, pineapple, green apples, sultanas, tangerines, strawberries, honey, vanilla, barley, wet oak. Finish: Medium finish, sweet-fruity aftertaste. Comments: I wasn't expecting this. Glencadam Reserva de Porto Branco was distilled in 2006 and matured initially in ex-bourbon American oak casks before being finished in White Port barrels sourced from Portugal. The White Port barrels perfectly complement this malt, adding depth and complexity. The abundance of lingering fruit notes is impressive with this one; it's delicious and fresh.
